Before you start listening to all the tips and tricks and strategies and overwhelm kicks in, work out where your business needs some attention in 2021.
Just answer a couple of questions and get an instant report and then pick and choose the tips and strategies to implement based on your unique business and goals
DON'T LET 2020 SCARE YOU INTO NOT MAKING A PLAN.
I'm a CFO that's chief financial officer. So the plan I'm talking about is a forecast, a budget, a financial plan, whatever you want to call it.
I want you to map out your revenue and your expenses month by month for 2021 so you have a clear roadmap to achieving your goals and making it to that destination.
We all know the route may shift as the world around us changes in 2021, but you can always adapt and revise as the year goes on. Creating a flexible forecast is way better than having nothing at all. If you don't know where to begin, use your 2020 or even 2019 numbers from your P and L as your basis for your forecast.
Just remember that 2021 is an opportunity for a fresh start. And my top tip is to create this vision, this forecast for where you want your revenue, expenses, and cash flow to go in 2021.
OUR BUYERS ARE CRAVING PERSONALIZATION
It doesn't need to be fancy. It doesn't need to be automated. It just needs to be incredibly unique and suited for your buyer's needs. We really are craving personalization. We want to know that we care and especially in the online space. There's nothing more important right now.
And certainly going into 2021, then really knowing that as a buyer, we really matter to the person who is offering our service and that we're paying money to.
REWARD BEHAVIOR THAT YOU WANT REPEATED
And once you identify the key customers that you need to continue to connect with, continue to share your products with, continue to share your ideas with, and you hone in on building relationships with them. Doing business on a daily basis is going to be super easy to figure out how you're going to continue to incentivize your key customers to continue working with you.
That may look like “spontaneous” like a gift card for coffee or a card over the holiday season, or if you notice their birthday.
People like to feel special. And so what you want to do is make sure that those key customers, not everybody, but those key customers feel really special. Do the same thing with your key business partners. There are people that are great collaborators for you and your business. You want to make sure that they also feel special and they also feel valued as a collaborator for your business.
So reward behavior, you want repeated. Send gifts when you can just make people feel special.
CREATE AND SELL A VIP DAY
And if you have not tapped into an opportunity to sell to a small segment of your audience who want a quicker transformation, then you're missing out on that cash flow. And you're also missing out on some more white space in your calendar because keeping up with services as well as all the maintenance that courses have involved with them can get a little daunting.
So if you want to be able to help people with that same transformation that you help with in courses and services, but in a much quicker, more intimate, succinct way then VIP days are the right way to go.
